Cristiada Movie Trailer (HD)

This movie is going to be EPIC! Its a part of history we really wont hear about because We only learn American History. But in high school I took a Latin American History Class covering the Cristeros War.
I was shocked that it actually happened. But I was not shocked that the faithful Catholics would stand up for their faith.

I just read today's reading and one verse in particular stood out. It matches this film perfectly.
Psalms 3:6 "I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me round about."

St. Sebastian shot
with arrows. 

• Nothing is historically certain about St. Sebastian except that he was a Roman martyr
• According to his legend, Sebastian was born at Narbonne, Gaul.
• Sebastian made many converts and encouraged others to keep faith. 
• Sebastian was named captain in the praetorian guards by Emperor Diocletian
• He entered the Roman army under Emperor Carinus in 283 in order to defend the confessors and martyrs of his day without drawing attention to himself.
• The emperor did not know he was a Christian. But when he did he ordered Sebatians execution.
• He was shot with arrows and left for dead, but when the widow of St. Castulus went to recover his body, she found he was still alive and nursed him back to health.
• He recovered, but refused to flee.
•  Sebastian intercepted the Emperor, denounced him for his cruelty to Christians, and was beaten to death on the Emperor's orders.
•  He was buried on the Appian Way, close to the catacombs that bear his name.
